Tory Bruno: The Path to Vulcan is Clear
A good bit of insight into the changes going on over at ULA that I had not heard before:
Bruno said ULA has reduced the amount of time needed at a launch site from 50 days to 20, and similarly streamlined the manufacturing days needed from about 500 to around 225. Furthermore, the company has dropped more than a third of its supply chain costs.
I still have concerns about the roadmap to get Vulcan up and operating, but there are clearly some good strides being taken to get there.
